The 22-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Werder Bremen, admits that he would be interested in a move to the Gunners.
“It’s [Arsenal’s interest] true, I’ve heard a lot of talk while I’ve been at Toulouse,” Abdennour told Footplus.
“They come to watch and scout players. They came to see our last three matches in which I put forward excellent performances for my side.
“My agent, Mr Abdelkader, he’s the one focused on these things. He’s a professional and he always tells me to work hard and whatever is good for me, God will help it through. I need to work and stay focused with my side.
“We’re going through a good period a Toulouse, God willing, we’ll continue on this path and then hopefully the two sides can come to an agreement. I’m not going to get involved.
“If there’s something good for the player and for Toulouse in me being transferred to a big club like Arsenal then why not? Right now I’m still happy at my club. I want to improve at Toulouse.”
