Boss Less Parry admitted that Thomas-Moore has been linked with a move to Rotherman however he is reluctant to let the 33 year old move.
Parry said: “I can assure everybody that there has been no bid whatsoever from Rotherham. But Ian has handed in a transfer request.
“He asked for another year on his contract, we had a discussion and we asked to leave it until Christmas.
“He tells us he’s been made an offer from another club – I don’t know who that club is – of an increase in salary and a two-year contract. Whoever that is has made an illegal approach.
“We will dig our heels in because strikers are few and far between. Obviously I won’t let him go for nothing and Ian has been told the board will discuss his request on Tuesday.”
