The 27-year-old is set to leave Boro, following their relegation, and has been linked with both Liverpool and Chelsea.
“Football in England takes over your life and I was happy with how I played,” he told Zaman.
“There is contact with several teams, but I cannot say how much or when until any formal offers have been made.
“There is interest from not just England, but Germany and Spain, but I want to play for another three years in England – like Tugay Kerimoglu did, he was very good in UK and has left his mark.”
“I do not want to return to Turkey, I enjoy playing in England – but if I did return it would be for Fenerbahce,” he added.
