The new deal will keep the 21-year-old striker with the Dutch side until the summer of 2015.
“Andrei has worked hard to come back. We have great respect for him,” Twente chairman Joop Munsterman told the club’s official website.
“Having turned 21 just last month he is a very talented player with a career ahead of him.
“We wished to give him the opportunity to develop further. We are happy to have tied him down for a new period.”
