The Zebrette’s first goal was a gift from Tottenham keeper Gomes.
“The goalkeeper’s error helped us along the way a little, but in the end it was the correct result and we deserved to win,” Marino declared.
“We had some difficulty at the start of the match as they were fairly aggressive early on, but once we settled my players were brilliant at reading the game.
“Once we got ahead, everything was easier and we were able to get more shots in. We had plenty of chances to increase our lead and we earned the 2-0 win.”
