The 29-year-old told Radio Incontro on Monday: “Roma are an important club for any footballer. It is pleasing to hear my name mentioned with an outfit like that.
“Given my age, myself and Udinese will look for an ideal solution which would please both of us.
“If the two clubs reach an agreement then I am sure there would be no problems over my possible contract with the Giallorossi.
“I’m just looking to end this season in the best possible manner and then I will talk with Udinese about my situation.”
