Fergie wants to get ten points before they travel to Germany for their away game with Wolfsburg.
He said: “Wolfsburg are a massive team and that will be an issue when I choose my line-up because they will be a real handful at set-pieces.
“It was a surprise that they won the Bundesliga when historically it has always been about Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen and Schalke.
“But their home record was fantastic last season and they will present a new challenge for us.
“Having said that, if we perform well at home we should qualify quite easily.
“Ten points is the key for me and I want them before we travel to Wolfsburg in our final game – I wouldn’t want to go there needing to win.”
