Van der Wiel featured together with Van Bommel for the Netherlands in the World Cup final on Sunday evening.
Van Bommel told El Mundo Deportivo: “I would be looking to sign Van der Wiel. He is a real engine. He is going to become the best full-back in the game in the next two years.”
