The 31-year-old is desperate to move to an Eredivisie side after failing to win a contract at Blackburn.
“Blackburn Rovers were interested but a youngster did well in the pre-season,” he told the Dutch press. “So there was no room for me.
“I will return to the Netherlands. I could go to Hull but I can’t see it happening.
“I miss Holland and just want to play football and not really earn an absurd salary.”
