Larsson is now set to return to Helsingborg, after his loan spell at Manchester United.
Van der Sar told MUTV: “He’s been good of course. He’s 35 and you can still see the quality of his runs, his passes, his layoffs.
“And of course there was he goal he scored today. I don’t think he’s scored too many goals but his influence has been great for us.”
