Varney is currently on a season-long loan at Blackpool from Derby County, but is keen to sign a permanent contract at Bloomfield Road.
“I’ve said from the start that if there is in anything in place, I’d be delighted to stay here,” said Varney.
“They have been fantastic to me and gave me a great chance.
“There’s no way I’m going anywhere – I’m here until at least the end of the season and then I’d love to sit down and sort things out.
“It’s a place where I am really enjoying my football and I’m sure I will continue to do so. I wouldn’t be interested in going anywhere in January, I’ve made that clear.”
