Vidic said: “I hope we can be there at the end of the season because we have played well so far this season.
“And if we keep playing like we have been, then we have a chance. But I don’t think the game against Chelsea will decide the championship because there are so many other games that are important.
“For instance, Arsenal have to play Chelsea at home and who knows what can happen there?
“Chelsea have already lost away at Middlesbrough and I think derby games like Arsenal could be important.
“We just have to play every game well and not focus on just one game, like the one at Chelsea, as a decider.”
On the Champions League he said: “I don’t want to compare the Premiership and Champions League because, for us, it is important that we win the Premiership this season.
“But I also want to go to the Champions League final with United and win that. We can do that and I think this season we can win both the Premiership and the Champions League.”
