Serbia international Vidic told the Sun: “We started badly in the League this year but things are slowly falling into place.
“The United defence is now as hard as a rock.
“We have played together for a few years now and are a tight-knit unit.
“Sir Alex Ferguson always demands total concentration and a fighting approach, and all the players know their duties.
“Rio Ferdinand, Wes Brown, Gary Neville and John O’Shea are all seasoned professionals who know what it’s all about.”
He added: “We are getting better with every game and we will reach our peak very soon.
“The arrival of Dimitar Berbatov has given us even more firepower going forward.
“He’s a great player and he always caused us a lot of problems when he was with Spurs.
“Fortunately, he’s with us now. I think we got something different with him, another option up front. With Berbatov, Carlos Tevez, Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, we have four players who can change the course of the game single-handed.”
