Jansson have confirmed Aston Villa have offered him a trial.
Pontus told Expressen: “Several international clubs have told me that they are impressed with me and that I am the best player in the team.
“I knew that agents from Arsenal, Tottenham, Feyenoord and Aston Villa were watching me but I didn’t know that they wanted to recruit me.
“Of course I would love to move abroad but I am happy with Malmö FF as well and I listen to the people who advice me to wait.”
Aston Villa wants to bring in the 16-year-old for a week’s trial.
He said: “Aston Villa called me last Friday and it obviously feels great. They will call back in a couple of days to discuss the offer further. I am well aware that this is a great opportunity.”
