The 22-year-old joined Villarreal from Racing Santander in a €6million deal last summer.
“This was the ideal destination. I come from a difficult end to the season and now I want to play good football and be at ease. I know Pedro Leon and Miguel Torres and I know that this is a good team for young people,” he was quoted as saying by AS.
“Last year I chose Villarreal because it’s a good club and, from outside, Getafe gives that same feeling. I love the way they play.”
