El Hadji Diouf abused QPR striker Jamie Mackie whilst he was lying injured on the ground, prompting a string of abuse towards the controversial forward via Twitter, which insinuated that he would be in for retribution in the future.
Warnock, no stranger to facing charges for the things he has said in the past, said: “we don’t want charges of our own. And I’ve had a word with the lads about this, and they can use Twitter all they want – as long as it has nothing to do with the club.”
