He said: “He’s been brilliant, doing that week in, week out for us.
“He’s always there when they get through and get their chance. They had a lot of chances in both halves and he pulled out some world-class saves for us. That’s why he’s playing for England.
“It’s been a new league for us and we do make a lot of mistakes. When they do get through the back four, the keeper is there. What more can you ask from the goalkeeper?
“The one or two chances they have when they get through, he’s there to bail you out. We’re so lucky and happy we have him behind us because he always talks to us and really helps us out.”
