The club suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Birmingham in the Carling Cup final last weekend, and have since beaten Leyton Orient 5-0 in the FA Cup.
They now play Manchester United in the cup and Barcelona in the second leg of a Champions League tie they lead 2-1 next week, whilst also being four points behind United with a game in hand in the league.
