The youngster impressed for the Gunners and Wenger believes Wilshere has a future at the club alongside Cesc Fabregas.
“Cesc and Jack could play well together,” the Frenchman said in The Sun.
“They have the same good potential. They are both players of character and they are not frightened of going into the challenge.
“Jack takes the ball no matter where, it’s all natural to him.
“He’s a different type of player — more of a dribbler, whereas Cesc is more of a passer.”
