Marca reports that Real Madrid could make a move for the 26-year-old in the January transfer window.
Almeida told Marca: “I have to say, I do not know if there is interest from Real Madrid, because no one has spoken to me from the club.
“If so, it is clear that it would be an honour for me. It would be nice to play in Spain with such a great club.”
Almeida’s contract at Werder Bremen is set to expire next summer.
