Le Figaro reports that Bremen are looking to bring in a new defender as Per Mertesacker could leave this summer.
Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs sees Delpierre as the perfect replacement for Mertesacker.
Delpierre’s current contract with Stuttgart is set to expire in the summer of 2012 and the defender has also been linked with a move to Everton.
