The Baggies have had a good start to the season, but Di Matteo knows the season is long and wants his squad to pull together in order to avoid relegation
“We don’t have much room to strengthen, as people know,” he told the Birmingham Mail.
“We will try but otherwise we will stay with what we have.
“If everyone can stay fit then we have a chance.
“We need everybody, not just the senior players, although we do have players who have been here before.
“I told the players that we’d put a lot of effort in at Bolton but we have to be more clinical.
“We score one goal and the whole game changes – that’s been our weakness.
“I can’t blame my players as they’re doing all they can.”
