The 26-year-old will be back a full two weeks before he was expected and will be in manager Tony Mowbray’s squad to face Blackburn on Saturday.
He said: “Kim is just about ready. He is now in full training and way ahead of schedule. I’m hopeful he will be ready for the weekend against Blackburn – and pushing for a place.
“This is the first time Kim has been injured since he joined us. Some players are good healers and recover very quickly while the problems of others can drag on.
“Let’s hope this is a good sign for Kim and that he will recover quickly from any knocks he does get.”
