Curbs said: “I don’t think the boy’s got any class. I just think it is bitter and twisted.
“Perhaps that is as far as I should go. If I talk any more about it, I’ll be in the same position as him and I don’t want to go down that route.
“I have had a good look at it and there are some things I might want to look at again.”
He added: “I gave him his debut when he was 16.
“Contrary to other people’s observations we have never had a row or a bust-up. He has left the club and should just get on with his football.”
