Negotiations between West Ham and Ajax regarding a transfer for Mohammed Kudus are making headway.
Tim Steidten, the technical director of West Ham, is currently in the Netherlands engaging in face-to-face discussions to finalize an agreement for Mohammed Kudus, whose valuation stands at approximately £40 million.
In the previous stages of the summer transfer window, the 23-year-old was on the verge of joining Brighton. Unfortunately, the move fell through due to complications arising from a release clause stipulation in his contract.
West Ham seems to be adopting a more adaptable approach, and this is likely due to their eagerness to bolster their midfield with additional depth and speed.
The uncertainty surrounding Lucas Paqueta’s future has emphasized the need for reinforcements under manager David Moyes.
Kudus has previously also been linked with a reunion with former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.
