The Hammers are currently at the bottom of the Premier League with just one win from their opening seven games of the season.
“I think we will be sure to get away from those bottom positions,” Jacobsen told Onside.dk. “But there is no doubt that the team is a clearly a top 10 side.
“There are plenty of good players and there is enormous potential in the team.
“But now we just have to get out of the bottom region first.”
