West Ham have re-opened talks with Manchester United over a move for England international Harry Maguire.
The Hammers had a £30million deal agreed with United earlier this month, but Maguire decided to snub a move, to stay and fight for his place at Old Trafford.
The 30-year-old has two years left on his contract at Manchester United and it is believed West Ham are unable to match the high wages he is earning at Old Trafford.
Maguire was stripped of his captaincy this summer and started just eight Premier League games for United last season.
Reports now are also suggesting that West Ham are making checks if a loan deal could be an option to get Maguire to London.
