Newcastle and Benfica has been keen on Boa Morte, who has now become Alan Curbishley’s first signing since arriving at West Ham.
Fulham boss Chris Coleman has earlier said that he does not want to sell Boa Morte, but said this: “If a player is not happy playing for this club and expresses a desire to go, then I would be prepared to let him leave.”
