West Ham’s Icelandic chairman Eggert Magnusson has made yet a signing to boost their defence ahead of the last part of the season.
The 27-year-old joins West Ham in a £6m deal that could rise to £7.5m.
Upson have signed a four-and-a-half year contract at West Ham.
