Chelsea are keen to bring in a new midfielder in the summer as Michael Essien is expected to be out of action for at least six months with a knee injury.
West Ham co-owner David Sullivan last night refused to confirm whether Chelsea had approached the club over a move for Parker, according to the Mirror.
Chelsea are also reportedly keeping tabs on Newcastle midfielder Cheik Tiote.
