Riquelme has been linked with a move to Premier League side West Ham in recent weeks.
“We need to do the paperwork, and ensure that the club and I remain in agreement. Then, I will be a Boca player,” the playmaker announced to TyC Sports on Wednesday.
He continued: “I already feel like a Boca player.”
“Everyone was hoping that things were solved quickly. The president is making a great effort so that I can carry on here,” Riquelme added.
“I want to properly prepare myself now so that I can give the fans four more years of joy.”
