The 29-year-old has just a year left on his current contract at Werder Bremen and he has been linked with a move abroad in recent months.
“I am just 29 years of age and this is clearly the best age for goalkeepers,” Wiese told Kicker-Sportmagazin.
“Playing in a different country for another club would be tempting of course, but just if it does not work out with Werder Bremen.
“We are successful, it is just a joy to play for Werder Bremen.”
