The £3million-rated Senegal striker looks set to become the latest player to leave Wigan.
New Wigan boss Chris Hutchings have allready released Arjan de Zeeuw and David Unsworth and Lee McCulloch looks set to join Rangers.
Josip Skoko, Mike Pollitt and Matt Jackson have all been offered new contracts by Wigan.
Hutchings said: “They’re all good pros and I’d like them to stay.”
