Purse said: “Apparently some Premiership clubs have been watching – Wigan and Watford are the ones my name has been linked with.
“But I love it at Cardiff and I’m enjoying my football here, so why would I want to move on?
“I’m really settled at Cardiff and I’m trying to sort out a couple of extra years on my contract at the moment.”
