The new deal will keep the 21-year-old defender with the Sky Blues until June 2018.
City boss Tony Mowbray said: “We’re delighted to get Jordan tied down to a longer deal at the club.
“Since I walked in the door at the back end of last season, I’ve been really impressed with the qualities and attributes Jordan possesses.
“He has fantastic physical attributes, strength and speed, and he is at an age where I believe he can continue to develop in the right environment at the club.
“I’m looking forward to working with him on the training pitch in the future as we continue to look at ways to strengthen our future squad.”
