Agger’s old boss Rafa Benitez is thought to be keen to bring him to the San Siro, whilst former England coach Steve McClaren – now at Wolfsburg – is also an admirer of the Danish international.
Agger is now fourth choice at Anfield, slipping behind Sotiris Kyrgiakos, and as such it is thought he may be allowed to leave Anfield.
