Wolfsburger Allgemeine Zeitung reports that Wolfsburg are keen on bringing in a new winger and they have previously been linked with Eljero Elia and Ryan Babel.
Wolfsburg sporting director Dieter Hoeness reportedly sees Pitroipa as a great signing for the club.
The 24-year-old’s current contract with Hamburg is set to expire in the summer of 2012.
