The 28-year-old is available on a free transfer after leaving Birmingham over the summer.
The striker has been out of action for a year with a cruciate ligament injury and has recently been linked with a move to Scottish side Aberdeen.
“I would say we would be interested in speaking to any player who is out of contract who we think might be helpful to us,” Wolves chief executive Jez Moxey told the Express & Star.
