“Yes, I have been watching Rooney,” Young Boys coach Stephane Chapuisat confirmed to the Scottish Sun.
“I was in Glasgow to watch him and another player in the game with Rangers.
“Rooney is a good striker but he is one of a number of players we are watching right now.
“We are not looking to take him now – it would be for next season.
“Rooney has talent and I will watch him again.”
