Villa are just three points behind Premier League leaders Manchester United.
“Nobody is talking about that but why not?” said the England international.
“We’re currently three points off the leaders. If we’re still there in March, then why not?
“I think a lot of people have been thinking we will crack and slip up, but at the moment we haven’t done that.
“Every game we go into the manager makes it clear we are going for all three points.
“You have to have that attitude when you are fourth in the league and trying to fight with teams that rarely slip up.”
