The Argentine has so far made 600 appearances since joining the club in 1995.
“I want to end my career here with Inter,” Zanetti told Tuttosport.
“My greatest game? It would be the 1998 UEFA Cup final against Lazio where I scored one of the most important goals ever.”
He added on his time at the club: “I remember during the 1999 season I almost left the club and moved to spain because there were some problems.
“However I spoke to Massimo Moratti and we sorted things out and in the end I decided to stay. Now I just want to end my career here.”
