Zlatan said in an interview on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” earlier this week that he is going to the World Cup.
But the 36-year-old Swedish striker did not want to comment any further if it was as a player or an ambassador.
“I just said I’m going to the World Cup. If I say more … they will hang me,” Ibrahimovic said.
Zlatan also said that he has had his eyes on a move to Los Angeles “for a couple of years”.
“It’s been a couple of years I’ve had my eyes on Los Angeles,” Ibrahimovic said. “And I wanted to give them a gift.”
Zlatan scored a stunning goal in his debut for Galaxy, in their 4-3 comeback win over LAFC.
“I know there are some earthquakes in Los Angeles,” Ibrahimovic said, about his debut. “This one was me stepping in Los Angeles.”
